ACTOR, AUTHOR, DIRECTOR, THEATRE PEDAGOGUE, CLOWN

Veronica Compagnone

Born in Italy, she is a professional migratory bird and traveler, with an empty suitcase on the way there and a full one on the way back. As a child, Antigone and Cassandra were her best imaginary friends. She loves contagious laughter, picnics in the sun, long philosophical walks, Dada marionettes, and a touch of magic. She enjoys reading and writing stories full of words… and on stage, she lets the stories speak for themselves. She is a master of cinema marathons: four films in a row. Chaplin taught her how to turn the world upside down like a true clown. She would only share her birthday cake with Federico Fellini, because he has his birthday on the same day as her! She is happiest when the world feels a little more magical, enough to make even the moon smile.

ACTOR, AUTHOR, DIRECTOR, THEATRE PEDAGOGUE, CLOWN

Sara Calvario

Born in Italy, she has been passionate about carrot cakes and stories since childhood, and still believes in their magical powers. She knows everything about whales, loves them, and has finally managed to stage a play about them. She believes she has green fingers, but her cacti don't quite agree, and she is convinced she is a hula hoop champion.
She wanted to be a tightrope walker or a tap dancer, but now she tells funny stories with her feet.
She works as an actress, theatre teacher, clown and social clown: she spends a lot of time daydreaming and nightdreaming, playing, writing and trying to fit the Zenobia Theater's shows into a suitcase.

MUSICIAN

Tristano Pala

loves animals and children, probably because he sees a bit of himself in them, and he is drawn to all things colourful. At one point, he considered becoming a palaeontologist, glottologist, or astrophysicist, but in the end, he chose music — his oldest and most trusted travelling companion. Through it, he gives voice to his quirky soul without being too harshly judged by others.

ACTOR, AUTHOR, DIRECTOR, EARLY YEARS EDUCATOR, CLOWN

 Sandra Murphy

was born in Italy, lived for many years in England and Ireland, and now calls Berlin home. She dreams in English, often of black cats, pizza with apples and gorgonzola, granny-square blankets, and steamy cups of English breakfast tea by the fireside of a cosy cottage overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. She is an aspiring lyrical soprano, best known for her shower performances, a world champion in solo bathtime karaoke, a ballerina in her dreams, an actor in her heart, and above all, a very proud and natural-born clown.

COSTUME DESIGNER

Emilia Patrignani

In her studio, she designs and creates, using different materials, small and big worlds she wishes she could live in. She drafts, sews, embroiders and shapes miniatures, which she then shyly shares in theatre plays, films and exhibitions. Her work is exhibited in her mother's house among other places

She now lives in Berlin, where she works as an actor, singer, and drama teacher
